The main camping areas around Drayton Valley are the Willey West Campground, located along the North Saskatchewan River, the Pih-To-Kwe Campground, located just north of town, and the Drayton Valley RV Park and Campground.
The Drayton Valley RV Park and campground is located in the Lions West Valley Park and is accessible from Highway 22 (6001 – 44 Avenue) beside the Drayton Valley Museum and the Tourist information booth. There are 43 full-service sites with fully-winterized services including water, sewer and 30 amp power. There are 13 tenting sites, three of which have 15 amp power. All sites have tables and firepits with free firewood. The campground also has a shower/washroom house that is open year round and a playgound for youngsters. There is a trailer sani-dump station located within the Lions West Valley Park.
The Park is within easy walking distance of all amenties following a paved trail system. Maximum two week stay between April 1 and September 30. Extended stays are available through the winter. See onsite manager at Site 50 upon checking in.

The Willey West Campground is located 6km east of Drayton Valley, just off Highway 22. There are seven full-service sites and 24 sites with just power. The campground features a baseball diamond, canoeing and fishing opportunities, horseshoe pits, a trail system, a convenience store and a playground. It is open from May to October.

The Pih-To-Kwe Campground is just 3km north of Drayton Valley on Hwy 22, across from the Drayton Valley Golf Course. Seniors rates are available. There are 32 sites—features include free firewood, firepits, picnic tables and a playground. It is open from May to October.
